School Workshops
Nurtured State offers evidence-informed mental health workshops and educational programs for schools and community organisations. Our workshops are designed to support the wellbeing of young people while providing practical knowledge and strategies for students, parents, and educators. We aim to create engaging, safe, and thoughtful learning environments where young people can explore important topics related to emotional wellbeing, identity, relationships, and mental health. Our programs are grounded in current psychological research and delivered by experienced clinicians.
Student Workshops
We offer workshops for students from Year 7 and above, with all content carefully tailored to the developmental stage and needs of the group. Sessions are interactive, respectful, and designed to encourage thoughtful discussion and reflection.
Workshop topics may include:
Body image and self-esteem
Sport, nutrition, and healthy relationships with food
Understanding eating disorders
Social media and mental health
Managing stress and emotions
Building resilience and self-compassion
Identity and adolescent development
Workshops can be delivered in mixed groups or single-sex groups, depending on the preferences of the school and the nature of the topic.
Parent Education Sessions

Supporting emotional wellbeing during adolescence
These sessions aim to help parents feel more confident in supporting their young person.

We also provide professional development workshops for teachers, wellbeing staff, and school leaders. These sessions focus on increasing confidence in recognising and responding to student wellbeing concerns.
Topics may include:
Understanding body image concerns in adolescents
Recognising and responding to eating disorders in school settings
Supporting students experiencing anxiety or emotional distress
Creating supportive and psychologically safe learning environments
Sport, nutrition, and promoting healthy relationships with food
